52nd Annual Meeting of the APS Division of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics
31 May, 2021 - 4 June, 2021
The 52nd Annual Meeting of the APS Division of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics will take place from May 31 – June 4, 2021. Preparations for DAMOP 2021 are underway and we are planning for the probability that the meeting will be virtual.
The Program Committee has been creating an exciting set of Invited and Focus Sessions. Meanwhile, the DAMOP Officers and APS Meetings Department have been working to find an intuitive platform for online conferencing that would allow for more and simpler interactions, networking, and easier navigation than DAMOP 2020.
High quality invited and contributed presentations make DAMOP such an exciting meeting to attend. With the extremely low likelihood of physical travel, contributed abstract submission will be later than usual, opening on January 11 and closing on March 8, 2021. With DAMOP 2021, APS will be using a new abstract submission interface, and information about that process as well as the sorting categories will be posted on the DAMOP meeting website soon.
The event organisers encourage broad participation from the physics community. The DAMOP meeting will focus on the following topic areas:
- Structure and Properties of Atoms, Ions, and Molecules
- Atomic, Molecular, and Charged Particle Collisions
- Ultrafast and Strong Field Physics
- Lasers and Quantum Optics
- Quantum Information Science
- Degenerate Gases and May-body Physics
- Cold Atoms, Ions, Molecules, and Plasmas
- General Precision Measurements/Fundamental Constants

Registration opens the 1st March 2021 and can be accessed via this link.
