Today, we stand at the cusp of a revolution where quantum information technologies promise to radically transform our society. Currently, there is a concerted global effort from academia, industry and national Governments to advance the realization of quantum technologies to the point where they begin to outperform their classical counterparts. For India to be at the forefront of this scientific and technological revolution, it is of utmost importance to build a platform in the form of a national level symposium, which brings together students, researchers and decision makers from the Government, Academia and Industry in order to enable better collaboration amongst major stakeholders.
